Glen M. Jones, CHE, NHA, ALA, RMC
Administrator

Glen Jones has served as Administrator at Glenwood Healthcare since 2004. He graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelors degree in 1976 and received a Masters of Health Care Administration from The University of Mississippi in 1977. His 30-plus years of healthcare experience include 24 years in hospital administration and 8 years in long-term care, assisted living, and rehab administration. He maintains certifications as a healthcare executive, hospital administrator, and risk manager. He is actively licensed as a nursing home administrator and assisted living administrator. Glen is married to Joyce Jones, Glenwood's Director of Nursing Services and is the father of two sons.

Joyce Jones, BSN
Director of Nursing Services

Joyce Jones joined the Glenwood family in 1999 and has served as Glenwood's Director of Nursing Services since 2005. She graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1977, and has extensive experience in the rehabilitative services, long-term care, acute care, and assisted living settings. Joyce is married with two sons.

Sonya Faulkner, RN
Clinical Coordinator

Sonya Faulkner is a Certified Risk Manager and serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Glenwood Healthcare. She has worked in the nursing field for over 25 years and has 13 years of experience in rehabilitative services and long-term care. Sonya joined the Glenwood family in 2005 in the education department and has served as the Risk Manager/Quality Assurance coordinator since 2007. She and her husband Tony live in Tuscumbia.

Erica Springer
Human Resources Director

Erica Springer joined Glenwood Healthcare in 2009 as Human Resources Director. She graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelors of Business Administration in 2004 and her Masters in Business Administration in 2008. Erica has experience working in the healthcare industry and lives in the Florence area.

Debbie Williams
Controller
Corporate Compliance Officer

Debbie Williams serves as Controller and Corporate Compliance Officer for Glenwood Healthcare. Debbie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Alabama. She joined the Glenwood family in October 2008. Debbie has over 18 years experience in accounting, working the last 9 years in a healthcare setting. She is married with three children.

Dena Pickle, BSN
Rehab Nurse Manager

Dena Pickle is the Nurse Manager at The Grove, Glenwood Healthcare's Rehab facility. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Alabama in 1994, she worked for five years at Helen Keller Hospital, first as a staff nurse on the cardiac floor and then as both a staff nurse and charge nurse in the intensive care unit. She came to work for the Glenwood team in December of 1999 and has been in nursing management since 2000. She has one daughter, Kayla.

Lucy James, RN
Nurse Manager, A-Station

Lucy James is the Nurse Manager of A-Station at The Meadows, Glenwood Healthcare's long-term care facility. She received her LPN licence from Northwest Community Collage in 2003 and her RN degree from the same in 2008. She became one of the first Team Leaders at Glenwood in 2005 and moved into the Nurse Manager position when awarded her RN degree in 2008. She is married with three children.

Linda Graves, RN
Nurse Manager, B-Station

Linda Graves is the Nurse Manager of B-Station at The Meadows, Glenwood Healthcare's long-term care facility. Linda received her RN degree in 2005 from Northwest Shoals Community Collage. Linda joined the Glenwood team in 1992 and has been in her Nurse Manager position since October 2006. Linda is married and has one daughter.

Keyna Robinson, RN
MDS Manager
Medical Records/EMR Data Manager

Keyna Robinson is the MDS/Medical Records/EMR Data Manager at Glenwood Healthcare. She began her nursing career as a nurse aid in 1989 and began working as an RN in 1991. She has over 18 years experience as a Registered Nurse with eight years experience in long-term care. She joined the Glenwood team in 2001 and has worked as an RN Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Software Data Manager, and MDS Coordinator. She is also a Certified Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator. Keyna is married with three children.

Julie Archer, BSN, CNP
Assisted Living Director

Julie Archer is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and is the Director at The Hilltop, Glenwood Healthcare's assisted living facility. She has been a part of the Glenwood family since 2001. Julie graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 1991 and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2008 with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree. Julie has lived in the Tennessee Valley all of her life, and she is married and has two children: one daughter and one son.

Janet Atkinson
Resident Services Director

Janet Atkinson is a certified Activities Coordinator and has worked in long-term care activities and social services for 20 years. She joined the Glenwood family in January 2005 as the Activities Director. She now serves as the Resident Services Director and coordinates behavior management, abuse prevention, volunteer programming, and the Residents and Family Councils. She acts as an advocate for residents’ rights, and also serves as a liaison between residents, families, and community agencies. Jan works closely with new families to assist with adjustment issues and serves on the interdepartmental team to develop an individualized care plan for each resident. She is married and has one daughter.

Sammy Mayfield
Plant Operations Director
Safety Director

Sammy Mayfield serves as the Plant Operations Director and Safety Director at Glenwood Healthcare. He joined the Glenwood team in 2008 but he has over 16 years experience in healthcare plant operations. Sammy received his HVAC degree in 1986 from Northwest Shoals Community College; he is also a State HVAC Contractor and a Master Gas Fitter. Sammy is married with two children.

Nancy Ritchie
Environmental Services Director

Nancy Ritchie serves as Environmental Services Director for Glenwood Healthcare. Nancy has been with the Glenwood family since it opened in 1976. She was raised in Florence, Alabama and has three daughters.

Marnie Brown
Foodservice Director

Marnie Brown serves as the Foodservice Director for Glenwood Healthcare. She is a Certified Dietary Manager and a Certified Food Protection Professional, and she has over 15 years experience in the foodservice industry. Marnie joined the Glenwood family in August 1999. She is married and has one daughter.

Marianne Marks
Business Office Manager

Marianne Marks joined the Glenwood team as the Business Office Manager in 2006. Marianne began her healthcare career as a Billing and Coding Manager in 1985 and has been in Long-term Care since 2002. Marianne has an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Columbia State Community College. She is from Loretto, Tennessee and is married, with one daughter and one son.

Jay McCaney
Director of Information Technology

Jay McCaney is the Director of the Information Technology at Glenwood. He joined the Glenwood family in 2009 but has worked in the Information Technology field for more than 10 years. Jay received his Bachelors Degree in Science in 1991 and has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2001. Retired from the U.S. Army Reserve himself, Jay has one son, Christopher, who is also in the U.S. Army.
